About Us

Meet your host

Denny Dellinger is an architect based in Over the Rhine in Cincinnati, relocating to Maysville to operate the Moon River Bed and Breakfast Inn. What was originally approached as a real estate investment opportunity has turned into a passion project to promote tourism in Maysville and host guests at the region's finest bed and breakfast inn.

I am building partnerships with other local businesses and short-term housing providers to help grow the tourism industry in Maysville, Kentucky and Mason County. I have had a long and varied career as an architect, including working in the hospitality design industry in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and travelling extensively studying the hospitality industry in Mexico and
Central America.

I have a long-standing interest in historic buildings, focusing on adaptive re-use of historic buildings while retaining the historic character of the original building. I am building partnerships with other local businesses and short-term housing providers to help grow the tourism industry in Maysville,
Kentucky and Mason County.

I hope to build long term relationships with my guests who will return to enjoy the many pleasures of Maysville, Kentucky. I aspire to become the celebrity bed and breakfast host of Maysville.

About our Hotel

The Moon River Bed and Breakfast Inn is located at 320 Market St. in the Cox Row Houses. It is one of seven row houses built in 1888. The
row houses are in the Downtown Historic District. The row houses are named after the days of the week, starting with Sunday, so Moon River is Friday.

The row houses are all individually owned and have been consistently maintained in good condition. Marti and Mike Insko were the prior
owners. They developed the Moon River Bed and Breakfast Inn when they move in during the early 2000s.

I purchased the Inn when they decided to retire and move on to other pursuits. I intend to maintain the tradition of hospitality they have
established over their many years as innkeepers. I want to build on and enhance that tradition by promoting special reservation
opportunities related to other activities and events in Maysville.
