Booking & Reservations

Can I book a room online?+
Booking directly on our website, rather than through an online travel agency allows us to communicate directly and establish a better relationship
Is a deposit required to hold a reservation?+
We typically require a credit card to secure your booking. The first night of your reservation is charged when you make the reservation. The remainder of the charges for additional days are charged when you check in.

Arrival & Parking

Is parking available on-site?+
Parking spaces are usually readily available on the street in front of Moon River Bed and Breakfast. We also have spaces at the rear of the building.

Do you offer EV charging?+
EV charging is NOT currently offered at Moon River Bed and Breakfast, but there is an Electric Vehicle Charging Station just down the street at 3 E McDonald Pkwy, Maysville, KY 41056, Open 24 hours daily.

This station is situated in a central location near the riverfront, making it a practical stop whether you're exploring Maysville’s historic downtown or just passing through.


Payment & Policies

What forms of payment do you accept?+
We accept all major credit cards and cash. Payment is due at check-in unless otherwise arranged.
Is there a minimum stay requirement?+
We accept single night stays, but we encourage guests to book more than one night to have an opportunity to visit Maysville attractions.

Do you offer gift certificates or packages?+
Yes! Gift certificates make a thoughtful present. We also offer seasonal packages—just ask!

Do you charge any additional fees or taxes?+
Room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes. No hidden fees.

House & Property

Can we spend time in the common areas of the house?+
Yes! Guests are welcome to relax in the parlor, dining room, in the fenced garden in the rear or on the front porch. It’s part of the Moon River experience.

Is smoking permitted anywhere on the property?+
Moon River Bed and Breakfast is a smoke-free property inside. Smoking is permitted in the garden or on the front porch.

Do you allow pets?+
We love animals, and your well behaved pet is welcome. We prefer to have guests with pets book one of the lower level suites, which have direct access to the rear yard, for your pet’s comfort.
Is the property child-friendly or adults-only?+
We welcome well-behaved children. Please contact us if you have specific needs. We have a high chair for infants.
Do you have Wi-Fi, air conditioning, or other modern amenities?+
Yes! High-speed Wi-Fi, central air, and smart TVs are available in all guest rooms. Some rooms have individually controlled mini split units.

Is the property accessible for guests with mobility challenges?+
Due to the historic nature of the home, accessibility is limited. Please contact us to discuss your needs—we’ll do our best to accommodate. We do have one first floor suite, which only has a couple of steps to access the room.
